Accuracy is everything. In Saju, the year turns not on Jan 1 but on ipchun (start of spring), and months follow the 24 solar terms, not the lunar calendar. This tool uses an astronomy-based almanac to get the ipchun and solar-term boundaries, the 60-cycle day pillar, and the hour pillar right — verified against known charts.
The result shows your day-master (your “self”) and its element, your zodiac animal from the birth year, and the distribution of the Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water) across the eight characters.
